Niger Delta our once peaceful and serene home, now faced with an unprecedented climate change crisis from rising temperatures, and extreme weather events threatening the very future of our abode and planet as a whole..
And as young people, we have a critical role to play in shaping the future of our planet. We are the ones who will inherit the consequences of climate change if we don’t act NOW, and we are the ones who can make a difference.
As part of the activities to foster inter-generational justice and build networks we are hosting our maiden General Environmental Assembly. It is a call to action, to bring together young voices to demand change, share ideas, and inspire collective action.
Join us on the 31st of May at the Nigeria Union Of Teacher’s House IBB Avenue and be part of this global movement of young people taking a stand for our planet. Hear from the young people, engage in workshops and discussions, and connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds.
We are the custodians of the earth, and it is our responsibility to preserve it for the future generations.
